Company Dancers

Our company teams cater to all different levels and abilities.

 

Though we do compete, the primary focus is to instill performance, discipline, fun, and life lessons to be used long after they are done dancing. 

 

Some notable performances include the half-time show for the Harlem Globetrotters, Dance the World at Walt Disney World and Resort, and a spot at a 76ers game in Philadelphia!

Shining Stars

Ages 7 - 10

Rising Stars

Requirements

  • Company Dancers on the Rising Stars ages 4 to 6 team are required to take Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. 

1.5 hour classes 2 days a week. A total of 3 hours per week.

​

  • Rising Stars are required to perform 2 dances in the Holiday show which they learn in their technique class.

​

  • Rising Stars perform 3 competition dances- Ballet, Tap, and Jazz- at 3 required competitions, our team showcase, and Spring Recital.

​

  • ALL Company Dancers will be required to perform at the Mandatory Competitions, Holiday Show, Spring Recital and Team Showcase. 

​

Rising Stars Classes

Required Summer Program

  • A minimum of 1 summer program week of your choosing in the month of June. 

​

  • 1 week in the month of July to learn competition dances.

​

Shining Stars

Requirements

  • Company Dancers on the Shining Stars ages 7-10 team are required to take Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Choreography, and an optional Acro class.

 

  • A total of 4.5 hours per week split into 2 days a week.

​

  • Shining Stars are required to perform 2 dances in the Holiday show which they learn in their technique class.

​

  • Shining Stars perform 4 competition dances- Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop- at 3 required competitions, Team Showcase, and Spring Recital.

​

  • ALL Company Dancers will be required to perform at the Mandatory Competitions, Holiday Show, Spring Recital and Team Showcase.

Shining Stars Classes

Required Summer Program

  • All Shining Stars Dancers will be required to take 1 week of summer intensive workshops per month during the months of June, July and August. Two or more weeks per summer month are highly recommended.

Company Dancers

Requirements

  • Company Dancers are required to participate in a minimum of 6 to 8 hours of dance per week.

 

  • Company Dancers must take Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Choreography classes and optional Acro classes.

  • Company Dancers are required to perform 2 dances in the Holiday Show and 3 dances in the Spring Recital.

​

  • ALL Company Dancers will be required to perform at the 4 Mandatory Competitions, Holiday Show, Spring Recital and Team Showcase.

Additional Information

2023-2024 Season: Important Company Dates 

  • August 28th - First Day of Classes 

  • September 1st- 4th - No Classes  

  • September 5th - Classes resume  

  • September 10th- Holiday Show forms due (each dancer must complete a form)

  • October 15th - Spring Recital forms due 

  • November 20st - 26th - No classes (Thanksgiving Break) 

  • November 27th - December 3rd - Holiday Show Week 

  • December 18th though January 1st - No classes (winter break) 

  • January 2nd - Classes resume  

  • January 6th - Additional Company rehearsal (required)  

  • January 6th – Team Bonding Event 

  • January 7th – Company Dress Rehearsal (all day)  â€‹

  • Spring Recital Week May 6 – May 12

  • Tot Shows: Saturday and Sunday 

  • Big Shows: Friday and Saturday  

  • Company dancers will be in all four shows – class dances will be performed in the big shows and company dances will be performed in the tot shows  

  • All performances are mandatory! 

  • Last day of classes- May 13th 

  • June 10th- 14th summer programming begins 

  • July 15th-19th- Company Intensives ages 4 – 10 

  • July 22nd – July 26th – Company Intensives ages 11 and up 

  • August 5th- 9th - Team Workshops
